TED Talk response

I picked the video by the artist Alicia Eggert. The reason being I picked this video was because I like sculptures. Although I don’t know how to make a sculpture, I hope it’s something I may try and pick up in the near future. Alicia Eggert artwork focuses on human relationships. She forms kinetic electronic energy in her sculptures to connect people. Her sculptures are interactive, and the installation focuses on relationship between language. The context she gives her work is the way she makes words into sculptures. Eggert talks about her work so passionately, which inspires me. She talks about how shapes the way we perceive and experience reality. The reason being I picked Alicia Eggert was because I felt we are both trying to connect people to human emotion. As you can see our artwork is completely different but representing human emotions isn’t. I’m representing it in second chance how someone who messed up just wants to start a new. She expresses her art through signs and expresses how the influence them can navigate the world, which gives them the ability to collect an experience or understanding. I love how she used the form of human connection to make an inflatable sculpture. The point was they had to touch hands to recreate it. That speaks volumes to me and she is really someone that sparked my interest.
