Tile: Rise from the Ashes
In today’s world we are surrounded by society pressure and life’s hardship. Unfortunately, this can cause people to turn to a dark path for their lives. The good thing is there is always light at the end of the tunnel. The work of art I created was inspired by the topic of addiction. I picked addiction because it is such a pressing topic in todays world. People who battle addiction and are on the road to recovery are looking for a second chance at life. The phoenix in my artwork symbolizes second chances and rebirth after addiction. The mediums I used are black drawing paper and different colors of chalk.
